Church Administrator

(Part-Time)

Southminster Presbyterian Church is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and mission-minded individual to serve as our next Church Administrator.

This part-time position (approximately 16 hours per week) serves as the administrative and operational hub of the congregation, working closely with the Pastor, Session, Treasurer, volunteers, and staff to support the church's ministry and mission.

Responsibilities include:

  • Office administration and records management

  • Congregational communications, newsletters, and worship bulletins

  • Financial administration and bookkeeping support, including QuickBooks and payroll coordination

  • Facility scheduling, vendor relations, and oversight of building maintenance

  • Volunteer coordination and administrative support for church programs and activities

Qualified candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience in business administration, accounting, nonprofit administration, or church administration is preferred.

Compensation: $16,664 annual effective compensation
